I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you purchase a copy of this book by Vieux Publishing if you have not read it yet. It was written and published by Napoleon Hill in 1925 and there were only 50 sets of this now re-printed version.

Dear reader,

I am very pleased to present this executive collectors edition of
Napoleon Hill's Law of Success from the 1925 Manuscript Lessons.
Manuscripts that were thought to be lost...


THE 1925 LESSONS FOUND!

These rare Manuscripts came from my personal collection of
Napoleon Hill's work, being aquired over many years and from around
the globe. I knew from my reading and research of this set that it was
quite different from the mass produced 1928 version. Thinking about
the opportunity and value this edition would create for millions of
readers, I informed the Napoleon Hill Foundation of my ownership of
them. In turn, they informed me that the 1925 manuscripts existed but
had yet to find or aquire them. I wanted to share this amazing piece of
literature with the public but it seemed to me Hill's Foundation was
quite happy with the 1928 version; and after being told to "get lost" by
their publishers I looked for a different pathway. I decided to obtain
the rights to publish this work and made it public starting in 2008; 83
years after Hill had them made.


THE MANUSCRIPTS

This work took approximately 25 years of research to create, and
Hill had around 50 sets of this manuscript made in 1925 while he was
the Director of Education of the Metropolitan Business College in
Cleveland Ohio. He sent a few sets to some of the contributors of this
success philosophy such as: Thomas Edison, President Taft, President
Woodrow Wilson, F.W Woolworth, Henry Ford, George Eastman,
and John Wanamaker for review. Hill put the rest in a box and sent
them to his wife Florence Horner Hill, and they ended up spending
time collecting dust in the attic of his home in West Virginia. This is the
very text that these great Leaders were allowed to read, straight from
Hill and now avaliable to you! As of this printing, there is still just this
one complete signed set of 15 booklets known for sure to exist; and I
believe it was no accident that this priceless information fell into my
hands which I humbly offer to you and to your SUCCESS!

ERNEST HOLMES (1887-1960). 
     
Ernest Holmes was born in 1887 on a small Maine farm, the youngest of nine sons.  As a teenager, he attended Bethel preparator school, but he spent most of his time out-of-doors, asking himself  "What is God?  Who am I?  Why am I here?" He mentally tangled with all the local preachers and doubted the answers he got in church.  At the age of 18 he left school and formal education and set out on his life long course of independent thinking.  He went to Boston, worked in a grocery store, and persued his studies relentlessly.  

A year later, he discovered the writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson.  "Reading Emerson is like drinking water to me. "he said later.  His metaphysical studies intensified his request for truth leading him to literature, art, science, philosophy, and religion, and in particular the Christian Science teachings of Mary Baker Eddy.  After Holmes became acquianted with the writings of Emerson and Mary Baker Eddy, he soon was exploring the writings of Christian D. Larson, Ralph Waldo Trine, Horatio Dresser, and Phineas Quimby.  Holmes was particularly impressed with the New Thought writings of Larson and eventually abandoned the Christian Science textbook for Larson's work.
     
In 1914, at the age of 25, Holmes moved to Venice, California.  Persuing his studies, he discovered the writings of  Thomas Troward, which fed the flame ignited by his earlier studies of metaphysics.  Almost casually, he began speaking on Troward's writings to small but ever-growing groups.  Without ceremony, his lifetime ministry had begun.  Later, as his audiences grew, he was ordained as a minister of the Divine Science Church.
   
Holmes published his first book, "Creative Mind" , in 1919, followed shortly after by another volume entitled "Creative Mind and Success."  He continued his studies, and lectured to growing crowds in California and Eastern cities.  Meanwhile, he was writing "The Science Of Mind," which was to become the "textbook" of the Religious Science Philosophy.  First Published in 1922, it was orininally copyrighted by his wife in 1926, revised in 1938, and is now in its 45th printing, and has been translated into French, German, and Japanese.  At the time the book was published, his many enthusiastic students urged him to set up an incorporated organization.  He refused at the time, but eventually agreed,  and the Institute of Religious Science of philosophy was incorporated in 1927.

Founder of The Religious Science Movement.  Ernest Holmes founded the International Religious Science Movement, wrote "The Science Of Mind" and numerous other books on Metaphysics, and originated the international periodical Science Of Mind Magazine, which has been in continuous publication since 1927.  Holmes' Science of Mind teaching, recognized today as one of the leading viewpoints in modern metaphycics, is a spiritual philosophy that has brought to people around the world a working cosmology - a sense of their relationship to God and their place in the Universe - and a positive, supportive approach to daily living.
